Since our beginning
in 1991, the Diamond Center has established vital and productive
relationships with other dedicated individuals and organizations
in the fight against AIDS. Government grants account for the majority
of ADARC's support. Private support is, however, a critical component
allowing researchers to pursue new leads and unexpected opportunities
- cutting-edge ideas that may not yet have the support of traditional
funding sources - and providing opportunities for the recruitment
of talented scientists.
We are fortunate to be working with:
Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS)
The National Institutes of Health (NIH)
International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI)
The Irene Diamond Fund
Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (PAF)
The American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR)
The Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center is at the forefront of achievement
in AIDS research. But as costs rise and the pace of science accelerates,
increased private support is needed to help the Center provide the
training and research environment critical to scientific discovery.
