The seminar meeting room is where the scientists meet every Monday to share ideas with an invited guest speaker. It is a free exchange of ideas with some of the most important people in the research community. The room is part of the new 6th floor renovations that have recently been completed, and features advanced technology. The white screen at the front of the room is a rear projection screen used for multimedia presentations. This screen as well as the room's lights and sound system can be controllled by the presenter via a touch screen at the podium.

When meetings get too large for this room, people can still be part of the lecture by watching and listening to it in the conference room on the 7th floor. The two rooms are linked by a closed circut television camera, which is mounted in the ceiling of the seminar room and broadcasts the meetings to the television in the conference room.
