Potential Volunteers

We are looking for male and female volunteers who are:
  • Healthy and HIV-1 and HIV-2 negative (uninfected)
  • Between the ages of 18 and 60
  • Not at High Risk for acquiring HIV infection
A volunteer would NOT be eligible if they have:
  • Had unprotected vaginal or anal sex
    with a known HIV positive person or a casual partner
    (i.e., no continuing established relationship) in the past 6 months
  • Engaged in sex work for money or drugs in the past 6 months
  • Used injection drugs (illicit) in the past 6 months, or
  • Acquired a sexually transmitted disease in the past 6 months
