Research Labs: Martin Markowitz, M.D.
The Markowitz Laboratory at ADARC engages in clinical and translational research. This means that all our work involves human subjects. This may range from studies which involve taking medications to having blood drawn for laboratory studies. All research is performed under the approval and of the Rockefeller University Institutional Review Board to insure that the interests of all participants are protected. Required study participants may vary and include normal uninfected volunteers, those who are newly infected with HIV, and those that have been infected with HIV for prolonged periods of time who may or may not be taking medications.
